Our New Government
Leave a CommentWell our new President has taken office. Now let me say that I am that America has seen past the color barriers and elected it’s first African-American President.
One of the promises President Obama said was Lobbyists had no place in his cabinet. Our new President has already went against his promise and put a Lobbyist on his cabinet. What other promises will he break?
Our President has decided that the best person to be the next Treasury secretary is Timothy F. Geithner. How can the Government put a guy in charge that felt it was OK not to pay his taxes? Can the rest of the United States not pay it’s taxes and have the IRS wave it?
The first bank bailout was pushed through and left many questions unanswered. How did that work out for the average American? Now President Obama wants to do the same with another “stimulus package”. What questions will be unanswered with the next one? Shouldn’t the Government take a little more time decided on a “stimulus package” that is going to drive us further in debt? Can they look their kids and grandchildren in the eyes and say, yes this “stimulus package” will help this time?

Government Change????
Comments (1)We are being told that if we dislike our Government then all we need to do contact our representatives and express our concerns. Well I have sent emails to mine and others and all that is received is a prewritten email on the chosen topic. If our emails aren’t actually read and responded to then why even send any in?
How has our Government forgotten the goal of America? They are only focussed on one goal and that is there own. They only want to see how much money they can obtain to put in their own pockets by letting the American public to pay everything for them.
The only voice they hear are the voices of the Lobbyists. They have a deaf ear to the American public.
